Tiina Heino
About Tiina
Tiina attended her first EAHIL Conference in Utrecht in 1998 and has given presentations at several EAHIL events. Tiina was working as a coordinator for CE Courses of the EAHIL 2008 conference, in Helsinki. She was involved in the International Program Committee for the EAHIL 2016, in Seville. She was Council member 2015-2018.
Tiina works as an Information Specialist at The Medical Campus Library Terkko of The Helsinki University Library. From the beginning of 2015, she is the president of Bibliothecarii Medicinae Fenniae (Finnish Association for Medical & Health Librarians and Information Professionals BMF).
Tiina is especially interested in information literacy, continuing education for library/information professionals, new technologies, pedagogy, learning, international cooperation and evidence based practice.
