EAHIL 2022: Online Presentations & extended submission

New Covid variants lead to extra and more strict travel restrictions and limitations on the number of people allowed for business events. Many uncertainties prevail as to how the situation will be in June 2022. The organization of EAHIL 2022 have therefore decided to allow for online presentations and to extend the period for submission.

Online presentation allowed

We would like to give everyone who wants to contribute the opportunity to submit an abstract. Therefore, we have decided that for those who are unable to attend the conference in person, we will offer the option to present their submission online. So if you have something interesting to say, don’t let travel restrictions stop you and submit an abstract! The decision whether to present your research in person or virtually can be taken at a later stage.

Online presentations are only possible for Posters and Oral presentations. CECs and Interactive workshops will have to be presented in person in Rotterdam, unless we decide that the whole conference will become a virtual event (a decision we hope to avoid).

Extended submission period

Since this decision comes just before the holidays, we have decided to postpone the deadline to 14 January 2022. After this date the IPC will start evaluating the submissions received and decide on the program.

The organization is evaluating the option of allowing an extended submission period for lightning talks (short presentations of 5 minutes) to allow as many people as possible the opportunity to present their research at EAHIL 2022.
