A Message from IFLA (International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions), forwarded by EAHIL President Maurella della Seta:
Dear Members,
I am writing to you to share a briefing produced by IFLA on the WiFi4EU programme. This is an initiative of the European Commission which promises to expand significantly access to public WiFi around the European Union, with a budget of €120 million. Libraries are explicitly mentioned as beneficiaries. In order to ensure that your members can take full advantage of this, I encourage you to distribute this briefing to them, and post it on your website. My team will be happy to share a editable version of the file if you want to make a translation. If you or your members have any questions about this initiative, please do not hesitate to contact my team on this e-mail.
Kind regards,
Gerald Leitner, Secretary General, IFLA
