EAHIL 2019 – taking place 17-20 June 2019 at the University of Basel, Switzerland – is approaching fast. The Local Organizing Committee (LOC) and the International Program Committee (IPC) are proud to invite you to join your colleagues to learn, share, act and bridge borders, which is this year’s motto.

IPC compiled a highly attractive scientific program, which is now online with abstracts and descriptions. Thanks to more than 80 authors and presenters from all over Europe and overseas, you have a choice of 11 continuing education courses and 35 interactive workshops.

Registration will open in few days. For several reasons, you may find it advantageous to create your personal account in advance in our booking system, ConfTool. Creating an account is free. When logging in for registration, you will be asked to provide the same user name and password that you set for your personal account.

As the program is very rich, we strongly advise that you plan your schedule ahead of the registration process. For organizing your personal schedule, we encourage you to use the menu option “My Agenda” in ConfTool. You may also wish to use an app on your mobile device: Eventor is the one that is connected to our system.

The LOC has prepared a social program with an array of informative visits and fun activities, including:

• Basel University Library

• University Medical Library

• Pharmacy Museum of the University of Basel

• Historical walk

• Skulpturhalle Basel

• Botanical garden

EAHIL 2019 is made possible with the generous support of our main sponsor Karger Publishers and fourteen other companies. A selection of state-of-the-art product presentations supplement our scientific program.

The LOC is looking forward to meeting you all at EAHIL 2019. In case of any questions, you can reach us at loc@eahil2019.net. See you in Basel!
