Voting for the EAHIL President and Executive Board positions from 2025 took place in April 2024. There was one candidate standing for President, and ten candidates standing for four executive positions (plus two co-opted members) in the EAHIL Board.

Francesca Gualtieri from Italy was elected as the new EAHIL President for the period of 2025-2026.

Lotta Haglund will thus become the Past President.

The five colleagues elected to the Executive Board for the years 2025-2028 are Alicia Fatima Gomez Sanchez from Spain (2^nd term), Gussun Gunes from Turkey, Marion Heymans from the Netherlands, Katri Larmo from Finland and Valeria Scotti from Italy.

The Election Audit Committee has decided to co-opt for the years 2024-2026 Aoife Lawton from Ireland and Witold Kozakiewicz from Poland

We want to thank Maurella Della Seta and Tiina Heino who has served on the Board for many years. They have been an inspiration to the EAHIL community. We wish them well in the future endeavours.
