The EAHIL Board would like to receive proposals or informal expressions of interest from members who would like to host future conferences and workshops.

The Board will next meet in February 2017, and we would be very pleased to consider both informal expressions of interest and firm proposals for hosting future events.

Please send expressions of interest or proposals to the secretariat email address (EAHIL-SECR@LIST.ECOMPASS.NL) by the end of January 2017 for consideration in February.

EAHIL’s next events will be in Dublin (2017), Cardiff (2018) and Bern (2019). Events from 2020 onward are still to be fixed, though we’ve had excellent expressions of interest submitted.

Of course, we welcome contact about ideas for future events at any time of year. If it helps to have a later deadline, the Board will meet again in June 2017, and proposals for discussion at that meeting should be sent by the end of May 2017.

A bit more information on support for organisers: EAHIL funds two registration fees for Local Organising Committee members to facilitate attendance of EAHIL events in advance of their own event, to gain insights/experience in the run-up to their own event.
Access to a collection of resources and examples from previous EAHIL events is given to organisers of future events, and ongoing support is available from Board members.
